Here are a few tips to throwing a great party!
1.) Allow for space. When seating a group for a paint class, account for roughly 4 square feet per person at each table.
A 5 foot table will seat 2 per side.
A 6 foot table will seat 2 people per side and 1 at an end.
An 8 foot table will seat 3 people per side and 1 at an end.
**It is helpful to plan for foot traffic also.
2.) Allow for food and beverages. If food and beverages are to be offered, it is helpful to have separate tables or surfaces designated for food and drink items.
3.) Bathrooms and Sinks. Your guests will assuredly need to have an accessible bathroom and a place to wash their hands.
4.) Artist set up. As most of our classes are instructional, our artists must have a bit of space at the front of the room in order to teach the class. We estimate the space needed to be about 3×6 feet.
5.) Give yourself plenty of time. We arrive an hour before the event to set up our equipment and supplies, and it takes about 30 minutes to clean and pack up our materials. Each painting takes about 2 hours to complete not including any breaks your guests may want for food and drinks.
6.) Have fun! Our events are designed for your enjoyment, so sit back and let us handle the rest!
