Rebekah Polly is an artist and entrepreneur from Southwest Missouri. With a BS degree in Art Education K-12 and an MA in Studio Art and Theory from Drury University, Polly has dedicated her career to the education of children. Most recently, she has worked closely with rural students to develop critical thinking strategies through the creation of art. As an artist, Polly works primarily in oil and acrylic and develops her subject matter by working with local people of color to discuss and interpret issues regarding race and discrimination. Currently, Rebekah may be found teaching and creating from her studio in the Historic Midtown district of Springfield, Missouri, where she works with local artists to develop creative events and workshops that serve her community.
